Reading- Read chapters 10 and 11 in There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom, then summarize chapters in four sentences or less. Write a question for each chapter to use in your discussions of the chapters in literature circles tomorrow. Answer whether Bradley likes Carla? why or why not? Use quotes from text to support your answers.
Social Studies- In English workbook do pgs. 35 and 49. On page 35 rewrite sentences underline all of the nouns in the sentences and capitalize the proper nouns.
Native American essays are due Friday. Must included reference list, outline, rough draft and published piece. Need to present with pictures on board, diorama, or power point.

Reading- compare and contrast the characters Paul Bunyan and John Henry from the two stories in the reader. pgs. 110 -119. Tell whether the comparisons or contrasts are fact or fiction. From the story John Henry and the Steam Drill pgs. 114-119 give a description of John Henry through John Henry's own dialogue about himself, another character and the narrator of the story.( narrator tells the story not a character)
